Oxblood, brass, forest and oak rather than teal/amber novelty.
A traditional Whitby pub presented with heritage warmth, clear visitor information and a calmer, more established feel.
This v8 version is deliberately not the same structure as The Quirky Den: centred masthead, framed hero photography, oxblood/brass/oak tones, symmetrical information and quieter rhythm.
The page gives visitors the simple things they check before choosing a pub: what kind of place it is, where it is, food/drink cues, atmosphere and how to contact or find it.
Menu note
Needs confirmation from public menu/social posts
The design avoids playful angles and loud shapes. It feels more like a settled local pub / inn website: polished, readable and owner-friendly.
Oxblood, brass, forest and oak rather than teal/amber novelty.
Photography is presented like pub memorabilia and venue character.
CTA, location and contact references are easy to find.
A final production version would use confirmed phone, opening hours, menu and business-approved images.
